Day 59: The Great Hair Experiment

I've had variations of the same haircut for YEARS. A short, stacked, a-line bob. I love it. However, after having kid number 2, I've come to appreciate the beauty of having hair long enough to pull up in a ponytail or a bun and it still looks presentable.

I enlisted my "hair person's" help for this endeavor, and with her guidance and support, I'm growing it.

My hair takes forfuckingever to grow, but it's now brushing my collarbone...almost. Jessi, the hair goddess, decided that I needed short bangs in order to change up the look while I'm growing it. She's the expert, so there you go. Short, straight bangs. I love them.

Day 44: ZOMG!

This was taken on the Tuesday after DST started. I hate DST, it always fucks me up. I did, however, go workout after school, hence the awesome hair. (As I'm typing this, I'm enjoying a cupcake.)

OH! The irony!! (Or something.)

Day 38: Let's Get Physical, Physical...

Bay was cutting teeth. In fact, she still is--we finally figured out that there's an eyetooth, and a molar or two coming through, despite the fact that she only has her 2 front teeth on top. What can you say? My girl is a rebel, even at 15 months!!

Auntie Piper decided that due to Bay's propensity for disgusting diaper blowouts and cuddle-fests during teething time, that she'd keep her in the jammies for the day. And wouldn't you know it? Mom happened to wear a hot pink hairband to the gym this day, and it just happened to match her jammies.

The girl may be casual, but she *always* matches.

Day 20: "I wanna Mohawk, but mom won't get me one..."

I have a stinky kid.

Seriously.

He's developed a serious aversion to taking a bath or shower, so I have to bribe him. Lately, "funky hair-dos" seems to do the trick. This evening's was the punk classic; the Mohawk.

Okay, it's more of the "faux-hawk", as popularized by Mr. David Beckham, but still, my Boo...he's edgy.
